Let's Talk Favorite Restaurants

Yesterday while I was eating at Rumbi grill and Max was sleeping away, I had time to think. My thoughts usually turn to food. I have a few favorite restaurants that I like to eat at. Here they are in no particular order with my favorite dishes:

*Martine Grill- Portobello Mushroom Sandwich on a wheat bun.

* Rumbi Island Grill-Hawaiian Mahi-Mahi blackened. Instead of the rice and Caesar salad, I get a generous portion of their house salad. It is delicious but gives me dragon breath.

* California Pizza Kitchen- The garlic chicken pizza OR anything on their menu. I love it all!

* Tepanyaki Japanese Steakhouse- Sushi, sushi, and more sushi!

* Bombay House- Chicken Coconut Kurma, Naan, and for dessert...Peshawari Naan.

* Chili's Bar & Grill- I don't think you can go wrong here. I have three favorites. Boneless Buffalo Chicken Salad, Fajitas, and Monterey Chicken and of course dessert...Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie

* Red Robin- I have to include this place for their bottomless beverages (Freckled Lemonade) and Mountain High Mudd Pie! Mmmmm Mmmm Good!

* Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill- Fish tacos, chips, and guacamole.

* Cafe Rio- All of their salads are fantastic! I also like their pork burrito, enchilada style.

I am salivating just thinking about all the delicious food out there. Don't get me wrong, I like to cook but doesn't food always taste better when someone else prepares it, serves it, and cleans up?

I'm open to new places and suggestions. What are your favorite restaurants and menu items?

Anyplace that serves good Mexican food - the one type of food I couldn't find in Brazil and am struggling to find in India.

YUMM!! Why did you have to make me so hungry on a Sunday night? I havent even been to half of the places on your list but they sound good. One of my favorite places is The Islands (do they have those in Utah?)....yum! I think I like Baja Fresh better than Rubios. We dont have either of those in NY so I dont eat there much anyway. Oh well....YUM...YUM...Yum!

Einstein Bro Bagel's tasty turkey sandwich on a garlic bagel-minus the sprouts and add honey mustard. Good good good. You do have to realize that you smell like garlic for days afterwards though.

Oh, and the Mario's Madness Roll at Yoshi's (thought I'd add that since you like sushi). It's a salmon roll that's battered and deep fried, just to make it even better! If I ever have a heart attack I'm blaming that roll.

mmmm... you're making me hungry! You've already listed several of my faves. I'd have to add The Old Spaghetti Factory (spaghetti with browned butter and mzithra cheese) and The Pizza Factory (chicken caesar bowtie salad). yum!

Have you tried the new southern style chicken sandwich at Mc Donalds?? Thank you for the food review. It was very informative and made me salviate. I think you should get paid for being a food connsieur. And take me with you when you sample different concoctions.I want to try every one of those things you suggested except for the sushi. How many interiors of fish bowls did you have to lick to aquire a taste for it??? Love, G.R.
