As I was driving in a modern roundabout today, I looked in my rear view mirror at the baby mirror and BM's car seat was tipped on it's side. Yikes! His silence scared me even more so I quickly pulled over and put my hazard lights on. Fortunately, BM was just fine and probably even enjoyed the crazy ride but it left me a little frazzled. I went to the nearest fire station and two firemen were nice enough to help this first time mom. They gave me some great tips and now I have peace of mind knowing that my little guy is strapped in correctly.

Oh no! Was that on the way home from Lehi? I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm glad the firemen helped you and didn't make you feel bad.
Maybe B.M. is going to be a thrill-seeker like you and enjoy crazy rides. ( I am glad everything is fine. You are so smart to go to the firemen for advice. (Did you pick me up a firemen of the months calandar for me? Love, G.R.
Yikes! I guess I need to get to a fire station. I've been thinking Sandy's carseat doesn't look quite right, but I never thought it could tip sideways...
How scary, I am glad he is ok! He will be ready to ride the bull soon:) Its interesting you mention this, because I have been planning a car seat check clinic for the hospital. To find out about clinics in your area when they check the car seats go to http://www.safekidsweb.org/events/events.asp
You were smart to go to the firestation- your mom cracks me up with her comment & the calender.
