It's Baby Time! by HeRoos

Introducing Baby Max

After several disappointing wave offs and being in a holding pattern for 3 days SheRoos was very excited to say the least when our number was called. SheRoos couldn’t help but dance (as much as pregnant women can, so pretty much just posing with style for the camera) once we got to our delivery room (I’m just amazed the cup of pee in her hand didn’t fly all over the place).

SheRoos is pretty stoked at this point and is all pumped up and ready for the delivery of our new baby. What she didn't know at this point in time is that she had another 16 hours labor and contractions to go through!

Several hours later and as tough as SheRoos is (and that is much tougher then HeRoos), she decided she had experienced enough labor contractions to be able to empathize with other women who had been through the delivery process. This is SheRoos after Dr. Feel Good had left (or more medically known as the anesthesiologist or doctor who gives the epidural and takes away the pain).

These next two pictures pretty much sum up the guy’s contribution from conception to childbirth.

At this point we have several pictures that we cannot publish. HeRoos got a little click happy with the camera near the end and we don't want to traumatize anyone especially SheRoos’ dad and brother. But for those of you who don’t mind a little blood and are over 18 or have a consent form signed by your parents, you can click here for some pictures shortly after the delivery.

This is baby Max after he has been cleaned up a bit. He kept crying because “someone” was pulling his hair and they wouldn’t stop (it took him a while to realize he was actually the one doing it).

After the nurses had counted his fingers and toes, poked and prodded him a little, they presented him to us dressed up as a neatly folded eggroll.

Childbirth was tough on little Baby Max so we gave him a well-deserved spa treatment (which he LOVED) followed by a nap.

Here are SheRoos' parents. They missed the birth by about 10 minutes. But hey there is always the next time, and the next time after that, and the next time after that, and...well lets just say the one who carries and delivers the baby and the one who doesn’t are disagreeing on how many babies they should have.

Here are our future weekly babysitters!

Here are some of HeRoos' family.
