Time For A Helmet

This kid is a climber. Nothing gets in his way. He pushes bar stools up to the kitchen counter so he can walk on the counter. He pushes his train up to our bed to give himself an extra foot of leverage so he can climb & play on the bed. He tips garbage cans on their sides to reach things. He jumps off the couch. He climbs out of his crib.

At times he overestimates his ability.

This is when he tried to jump from one couch to the other and hit the end table instead.

5 stitches later.

The day after a visit to the E.R. and he still hasn't learned.

It's a good thing he is so darn cute, even with a black eye and stitches.

Looks like you have an ER kid, you know the kind with lots of Er bills and all the nurses know his name. HA HA HA! Good luck on it. Broken bones are next! ;)

Both of my kiddos were climbers like this! It seriously about drove me over the edge. I can't tell u how many times I turned around to see a 15 month old standing in the middle of the kitchen table or trying to reach the top of a bookshelf, sheesh! Happy to say...they have both outgrown it!:)

Now you know why a Mothers hair turns gray and a Father goes bald. Being a parent is living on the edge. Hope MB outgrows it soon and then Zo Zo will be embarking on her "monkey business!" God knew what he was doing when he gave you cute beautiful children.XXOO G.G

Yikes, I'm so sorry he needed stitches. Not fun!

I am not happy that MB got hurt, but I am relieved to know that I'm not the only one dealing with a baby injury. If you have any tips for me, let me know. I'm keeping Jake in his sling for as long as possible because it's the only thing keeping him from getting back on top of the kitchen counter.
