His newly discovered independence is exhausting.
He wanted to play & splash in the tub for 45 minutes this morning. Fine.
Mr. Boy wanted to wear his Halloween shirt today. Fine.
He wanted to put medicine on his burn by himself. Fine.
He wanted to play on our freshly made bed. Fine.
While he was turning on the lamps and the baby monitor, I decided to check my e-mail. I heard the baby monitor beeping very loudly because it was on the wrong channel and I assumed he was still playing with it.
When I went in our bedroom, this is what I found. Better than Fine, it's only 11 am.

They are exhausting, aren't they? You know they get all their energy by sucking it out of you. We are having a hard time containing that energy in public. We are shut-ins now. We just choose not to go out until we run out of milk. Let me know if you have any tips! He's such a cutie.
What a busy little boy - I hope you get some rest while he crashed.
Awesome! I love it when they crash like that.
What a cutie! If I would let Kendall stay in the tub all day she loves being in the bath!!
It is so fun how they just wear themselves out so totally. I used to call it recharging for Jace. It was on the go the whole time he was awake. Love the Tom Cruise impersonation. And the pictures of Zozo, are just too cute.
Love this boy!! Next time I hope I can play with him more :)
