South Weber Home For Sale... Boo Hoo

For those of you who know me, you realize that this is a very sad time- we are moving from the place I love. South Weber has been my "dream town." I love being close to the mountains, I enjoy our neighbors, I've made some good friends in the area, the house is great, and my parents are 20 minutes away. Boo Hoo, cry me a river!

The company that HeRoos worked 10 years for was sold and all the employees were laid off. Fortunately, with help from Above, HeRoos found a job right away. He loves the new company and is happy to be there. They treat their employees well and he enjoys what he's doing.

The only sad thing... his new job is all the way in Lindon, Utah. It takes him at least an hour to get to work each morning and then another hour to drive home. Even with my old reliable, gas efficient car he still fills up every three days and we miss him being gone for so long.

If you know of anyone who wants a really great home in an awesome community, have them contact me.

I'm sorry that you have to sell your dream home and that you had to go through the stress of a layoff! I'm so glad Heroos found a job so quickly, though, that is really a blessing!

I'm crying as I reply. But I feel very blessed to have had the opportunity of having you live so close to us. I'm so happy HeRoos found another job so quickly. Now I know why we bought a new car last year. I'm sure it will learn It's way to Lindon when I start craving "baby love" from MB and Zo.
xxoo G.G.

Oh man! It is so nice to get settled somewhere and feel good about it. . .then to have to move when you don't really want to, not fun! Thank goodness for the job though!

Sorry you have to leave South Weber! You will like Utah County though. You will find new things you will love in this next adventure! I am so happy that HeRoos found another job that is great, who is he working for down there?

Oh Jenny! I really like your home in So. Weber! I know your Mom will miss having you as close... but Utah Co is really nice and it is warmer too! Destiny really liked Orem and I know you will like that area too. You will probably find something you like just as well there. Remember when one door closes another opens!

I feel for you Roos Family. Leaving a home you clearly cherish so dearly is difficult. I know you will find another home that will be as loved. It's not easy to sell these days. Having just sold one home and re-financed another recently, I know the perils of the real estate/mortgage market today. I do hope you're lucky enough to find a buyer. Advice: price it according to true market conditions, regardless of what you think its worth, or you'll be riding this declining market to the bottom. The appraisal will kill a financed deal if your purchase price doesn't reflect market conditions

Your home is so beautiful! You have a knack for decorating. I have mixed feelings about your move though. I'm sorry that you have to leave your dream house and all your wonderful friends. On the other hand, you will be closer to me because I am moving to Orem at the end of May!! Wahoo!

I'm so sorry you have to leave your beautiful home. And your fruit trees! But Lindon is lovely as well...and very close to me. We can hang out sometime. :)

So sad. Good luck with having the house on the market. That part isn't too fun.
