Tomboy in the Making?

Did you think that was a picture of a baby boy? Nope, that's our little girl ZoZo. I can't believe she is almost a year old & she has a mind of her own. This little girl is not a fan of accessories. She tugs and pulls until she get her bracelets, bows, and cute shoes completely off. She prefers everything simple. No frills. She is definitely not a "Fancy Nancy." Her favorite toys to play with are not soft cuddly stuffed animals or dolls- she LOVES cars & playing in the dirt!

We have purposely avoided referring to ZoZo as "princess." For some reason, I've never cared for the nick-name BUT I do love the book Do Princesses Wear Hiking Boots?

If this Angel Baby decides one day that she want to wear curls and bows, I will happily jump at the chance to help her accesorize but in the mean time, I'm going to enjoy her dirty fingernails and messy hair.

What a perfect attitude! For some reason I dislike the princess thing I think it sets unrealistic expectations.

Too bad, I'm enjoying my little "princess" a ton, she has more dresses and accessories than me any day....it's exhausting but well worth the frills!

A girl after my own heart. . . I admire women who can work, sweat, and play hard with the best of them. She'll always have the best of both worlds. Go ZoZo; I'm a fan!

She is such a cute little girl, and your boy is adorable as well. It is fun to watch them grow up. I sometimes really miss my kids when they were so little!
